Raquel Robertson
Office Manager
info@naswnm.org
Raquel Robertson joined the staff of NASW New Mexico
Chapter on June 1, 2010 as the Chapter’s new office manager. Mrs.
Robertson has previously worked with NASW-NM during their 2009 and 2010
Conferences under Jennifer Redhouse. She also filled in for Mrs.
Redhouse during her maternity leave in late 2008 through early 2009.
Mrs. Robertson graduated summa cum laude from the
University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology in
2005. She is a native New Mexican, and has lived in Albuquerque her
whole life. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart,
Matthew Robertson, with whom she just celebrated her fifth wedding
anniversary in August, 2010. Her father, Steve Montoya, was a school
social worker with the Albuquerque Public Schools for many years. He has
also been a past President of NASW-NM, and is still active within the
Chapter’s Conference Planning Committee. Because of this, Mrs. Robertson
has grown up with the New Mexico Chapter of NASW and can fondly remember
attending the annual conference receptions in her youth.
Mrs. Robertson is looking forward to working with
NASW and the social workers of New Mexico. She is passionate about
advancing the social work profession in our state, and is happy to be
involved with an organization which has such a strong sense of values
and social advocacy.
